Das neue PHP 7 verspricht Performance Steigerungen und viele Verbesserungen, die z.B. von Joomla 3.5 unterstützt werden.

Bitte auf Prelive ausprobieren und alle Applikationen testen, die auf wwwbruegge laufen. Wenn alles ohne Probleme funktioniert, können wir die Live Umgebung aktualisieren

Joomla 3.5 ist aktuell noch in der Beta 2 also noch nichts für Production.
Joomla 3.4 unterstützt kein PHP 7. (https://community.1und1.de/joomla-3-4-php-7-de/)

Damit ist das Ticket blocked bis 3.5 released wird.

Habe es versucht, es gibt es bis jetzt keine offiziellen PHP7 Pakete für Ubuntu. Dementsprechend vertagen wir das bis es PHP7 offiziel gibt.
